How to Reset your Life when in a Rut
Do you feel you need to reset your life as if stuck in a rut?
Or do you feel you are all stuck in a place where all the doors of hope, life goals, and self-beliefs are too distant or vague?
As if your mind is speaking to you, ” I am unable to find the ways to move forward and open up a bright new chapter of my life”
Stop worrying my friend! We all face this time and again at some point in our lives.
Each time the remedy to get out of this rut is to find your “Fire”. It is not an overnight quick process. But discipline and habits will take you where you want to go.
I have shared a post lately about the things I gave up to change my life. I hope it will help you to become aware of those bad habits you cultivate that create roadblocks to your life dreams.

Have that Goal you want to achieve –
What do I want to achieve? Where do I see my life to be? How am I going to reach my dream life? Whether my goals are achievable? How to get my desired results?
These are the few prompts you have to ask yourself to know what you want. How do you want them? how they can be accomplished and how to sustain them? Set a clear goal that you want to target in your life.
Setting the goals that will give you a better clear picture of reality. List your goals in a planner and set the right intention to achieve your target.
Review your Goals and Set Priorities –
Avoid having too many tasks on your to-do list. An unrealistic target will only make you anxious and overwhelmed as your mind will be bogged down with all you have to do in a single day. Ultimately any unaccomplished task will only make you feel down.
Instead, break that long to-do list to reset your life and achieve them into smaller realistic daily goals. Have the top 3 or 4 important goals you think you can achieve in a day.
Remember this is all for you. Go with those sets of tasks that you are comfortable with. Avoid burdening yourself with something you do not wish to take up in a single day.
At the end of every single day when you are able to tick off those 3 top essential tasks, you are going to feel more accomplished and satisfied with your progress. Each small portion of your daily tasks will eventually take you one step closer to your dream life.
Visualize your Goals for your Dream Life –
Seeing your goals and the dream life in the live picture in front of you will make them more real to you. Visualization is a powerful technique to draw a dream toward you.
A life that you target to achieve or you want to live is going to be possible when you see that same life in front of you each day. You have to live that dream life until you achieve it.
Picture yourself what you will be doing on those days when you have finally trespassed that line into that dream life. Connecting your insight with that visual picture of your dream life is important.

Get Out of your Comfort Zone –
Your life cannot grow if you are stuck in your comfort zone. We are always happy to be in the comfort area. If you truly want to start that business you have to come out of your safe zone.
Take up that challenge of kickboxing class you have been scared of. Just start it. Always push your limits.
I know that starting something new when you feel stuck in life is scary and very hard. But start with picking up your most important goal.
Break them into small parts and try to complete one small step each day closer to your dream goals. Get out of that rut and move on in your life.

Give your Mind Rest and Care-
Take frequent breaks to clear your mind. Working on your dream goals with no respite will make you feel lethargic. Proper self-care is the ultimate way to recharge that low energy.
Take breaks from social media. Go for a walk or sit quietly in silence, just relax and reflect on your goals. This will help you to focus and reflect on your intentions and priorities.

Care for your Health and Mind-
Engage in any physical activity like yoga, running, kickboxing, or swimming to keep your body agile. Your mental health is equally important.
Along with that right balanced food, enough water hydration, and proper sleep are the few top self-love you can give yourself. These things surely affect in a positive way to reset a new life.
Just remember never to be forced or obliged to do anything you do not want to commit until you wish to take it up.
If you do not feel like exercising practice deep breathing or sit in a meditative pose. Sing, dance, cook your meal anything to keep your mind and body refreshed.
A healthy body and mind give you clarity and good decision-making capability.
Remove those People who Judge Your Actions –
You are the creator of your destiny and the path you want to go depends on your hard work and determination.
Stop giving importance to people who do not make you feel happy. Those people or situations do not matter in your life. They are only to put you down or drain your energy.
Minimize your association if you are not able to cut them off suddenly. But the more they are far from you, the better it will be for you to focus on resetting your life.

Have a Vision Board –
Vision boards are a collage of images and words that are made to inspire you. You can create this digitally on your computer or a notebook. This positive collection of dream life, inspirational words will help you evoke a ‘Fire’ in you.
This will motivate you to move forward to reset your life when in a rut.
Invest in Yourself-
You are your biggest investment. Work on yourself. Acquire new knowledge or skills that can be beneficial for you in the short and long run. Utilize your time to do something for yourself.
While resetting your life to a new beginning your skill may come in handy to make it easier for you.

Remove any kind of Fear –
Fear is the main culprit in our path. Fear blocks us from achieving the goal or dream we have. It halts us from resetting life when in a rut.
Removing fear is not easy. But having self-belief and faith in yourself will slowly drag you out of that fear. Never let that fear hold you down.
You can only win by going beyond that boundary of fear. If taking a kickboxing class makes you sweat in fear of getting hurt, push your limit.
Just jump for it, take that first-day class and slowly move from there. Even if you want to take off for one or two days, avoid quitting on your goals.

Let Go of Your Past-
When you are all set for resetting your life stuck in a rut, you have to let go of your past.
Forget that past that gives you pain or guilt. It only holds you back to look back at them.
Try to forget those events or painful situations from your past with time. We all have painful pasts which are better to be left in the past. It is done and over!
Recall your achievement or win, even if it is small. They happened in your life because of your hard work and determination.
A good past only motivates you to move forward with confidence and faith in yourself.
When you are stuck in life think of that win that gave you happiness and warmth in your heart. You are your potential.
Bring back that fire each time you need to reset your life.
Maintain Decluttered Surroundings –
Keep your surroundings clean and tidy. Organize the desk you study or work at. Make your bed getting up in the morning.
Dust off those furnishings every week. A clean environment gives you a positive mind to work on your top tasks.
Uncluttered and uncleaned space where you work or stay drains off that energy from making good decisions.

Keep a Gratitude Journal –
Being grateful for what you are and what you have are very important steps before resetting your life out of that rut.
To reset life you need to change your mindset. Journalling your positive emotions in the form of gratitude will connect your insight with your goals.
Gratitude makes us more grounded and has positive changes in mind. For example, you are about to start your dream business. Be gratified for being healthy and wise to make that decision for yourself.
Be gratified for having those resources even small, required to start your business.
