How to bounce back when life gets difficult – 12 ways
1. Keep Having Faith
Always begin your journey with faith. When we are going through tough times we lose our faith in us and the power. Each day seemed to be a burden to overcome.
This is exactly what I was feeling when my life felt like a void. I did not have any motivation to keep up. The struggle and the pain of life were too much to find that self belief and faith in something good.
But that never helped me to have any peace. It made me more heavy and discontent about life.
Have faith in life and any power you believe in. The universe always loves us and paying attention to your prayers.
Faith is a power without which our journey to bounce back in life is not possible.

2. Believe In The Power of Gratitude
Often we cry for things and experiences that we do not have yet. Thankfulness is a strong way to have a grateful heart. It is magic to create a positive energy in our minds when we are deep down in life.
We have so much to be content and grateful in life. I tried gratitude practice while I was facing a tough time. It was not easy as I did not believe what I was doing. The practice of gratitude writing or thinking about three things that made my life wonderful was an unthinkable act.
But keeping at it started to impact my life with rays of hope. Please use the magic of gratitude to fill your life with happiness and peace.
You may be going through a very challenging or painful situation. It may make you feel you are on a roadblock forever.
Stop right now! You Are Free To Bounce Back In Life.
Start finding the most basic thing in your life that helps you to be where you are now. For example, drinking water or the warmth of sunlight or the morning coffee/tea.
When we acknowledge and appreciate everything we already blessed in life, more good things happen to us. Try it now!
3. Be Kind
Sometimes we behave too rudely with ourselves and become the harshest critics. Finding faults in us is the primary reason for viewing everything from a negative doom point in life.
If we fail to achieve anything we instantly pass snide remarks at us. These acts only reduce our self worth and harm our mental health.
Being kind is a strong way to pull yourself back from any mess in life. This is what I tried myself after being the biggest critic of my life.
Correcting yourself when you feel you are digressing from your life path is good. But constant rebuking and putting yourself down saying, ” I am not good enough” can put your self confidence at the bottom.
Kindness improves self esteem and self love to bounce back in life anytime.
4. Take One Step At a Time
The overwhelm of life’s roller coaster struggles is relentless. But if we pick those things in life that draw our attention the most then it becomes less tiring.
There can be so many things you think that you may want to do right now to find immediate relief.
Taking one step at a time with attempting one task can make your life much easier.
5. You are Stronger Than You Think
When life gets us down we think that we don’t have the strength to push forward anymore. The constant setbacks one after another feel like a frustrating never ending process that has no end.
This daily struggle becomes a demotivating factor to see any hope.
But you are stronger than you think. You have come so far. You have combated all odds of life, still standing, and pushing through.
Resilience can be a power to help you cope with the struggles of life. If you allow yourself to think that no matter how hard life can get, you are already a winner.
Remind yourself that these life challenges are going to come to us. But how we deal with them to overcome and come out successful matters.
6. Focus On The Positives
It is very easy to look for things going wrong when we are going through hard times. We keep on doing things and hope that everything will be ok only to find failure once more.
We tend to believe that whatever we try to fix things will end up only on the negative side. This is what I used to think a few years back when I was struggling to turn my life around.
I realized that it is so quick to fall into the habit of picking only the bad. When we are surrounded by so many blows our sight to see something positive vanishes.
I started to focus my attention on the good that still made my life worthy enough to be resilient.
Just remind yourself that you are always given the positives in your life no matter how awful you must be feeling right now.
Alter the way you see things. I know this sounds very easy to say. But if I can come out from the lowest point in my life, any one of you has the power to push yourself out of any struggle.

7. Perseverance Is The Key
Perseverance is the key to bounce back in life when it gets you down. Even if we fail unnumbered times we have to get up and take life and turn it around.
When we are faced with problems in life we feel suffocated. The motivation to keep going becomes feeble.
I too felt too much to go to the next day when I was at the lowest point of my life. Everything felt disconnected and unhappy.
The need to come back strong helped me to keep trying. I would ask you to do the same even if you are feeling stuck in your life.
Never give up because you have everything to bounce back in life. Find that fire within you that gives you support to move forward.

Life never fails to show us surprises. It is those challenges we fail to accomplish that make us feel unworthy.
Remind yourself of those wins you had when you overcame other setbacks in life. How joyous and giddy you were with yourself.
It can be a small or big win, but the memory can be a booster to uplift your mind during your days of struggle.
9. Take Good Care Of Yourself
Self care is very costly to be neglected during the rough patch in our lives. Self care is a necessity and acts as a placebo for many hardships.
The practice of taking care of yourself helps to boost our mood. Selfcare reduces stress and burnout in our lives.
Self care practices like 5 minutes of silence, reading a good book, painting your nails, having a skincare routine etc., improve your self worth.
Remind yourself that self care is not selfish and it acts as a booster to uplift your drooping energy when you are struggling. This is an easy step to bounce back in life.
10. This Too Shall Pass
The time I was during the lowest time of my life, I used to think that there was no way out. Feeling discontent and unhappy with life was a daily matter. That badly impacted my mental health too!
I was too afraid to think of anything good in life. There was no hope. All my efforts were failing one after another.
But thinking back I realize that everything in life changes. The pain I was feeling in those days does not have the power in my life.
Time always helps us to move forward. There will be always a phase when we will be thrown at rough times. This is very painful but these hard times teach us valuable life lessons.
Always know that your pain and struggle will go away. Maybe not right now, but you are bound to come back strong in life. Never lose hope.
